City of Bayswater Local Environmental Strategy

The purpose of the City of Bayswater's Local Environmental Strategy (LES) is to document existing environmental management activities being undertaken and to develop a plan for future environmental management activities.

The City of Bayswater has been active in environmental management over the last decade, with the majority of activities being undertaken by a range of staff from different service areas, but with limited strategic direction.  The LES seeks to provide strategic direction and a framework for future environmental management activities aimed at meeting statutory obligations and best management practices for Local Government.
