City of Belmont

The City of Belmont is a vibrant community located six kilometres from Perth's central business district, along 11 kilometres of Swan River frontage. Conveniently situated between the major airport terminals and the City of Perth, Belmont is a great base from which to explore Perth.

The City of Belmont is a residential, industrial and commercial area. The City encompasses a total land area of 40 square kilometres, including significant river foreshore areas.

Whilst Belmont is close to Perth's central business district, the area also offers a mix of unique amenities. As well as having its own marina at Ascot Waters, Belmont has a unique residential stables precinct surrounding Ascot Racecourse. Ascot Racecourse is one of Western Australia's primary horse racing venues and its popular Spring Racing Carnival adds a level of excitement to the community each year.

There are many vantage points from which to enjoy Swan River views in the City including Garvey Park, which also offers convenient barbecue and playground facilities. The City is blessed with an extensive range of picture perfect parks and gardens complete with children's playgrounds, lakes full of wild birds or river views.
