Cycling in Perth's Eastern Region has now been made easier thanks to the recently released publication Cycle Perth's Eastern Region.
At the launch of Cycle Perth's Eastern Region earlier this month, EMRC Chairman, Cr David Fardig, explained that the comprehensive 64-page guide showcases cycle and tourism experiences accessible from the Midland Railway Line, along the Swan River foreshore, through the Swan Valley and up into the Perth Hills.
Cycle Perth's Eastern Region directly promotes three of the State's 54 Top Trails experiences including:
EMRC and Mundaring Tourism Association coordinated development of the free publication with financial support from the Department of Transport - as a Cycle Instead initiative; the Department of Sport & Recreation/ Lotterywest Trails Development program; and Tourism WA.
Copies of Cycle Perth's Eastern Region are available from a range of outlets including Visitor Centres, Council facilities and the Department of Transport. The publication is also available for download from www.perthtourism.com.au.
