drumMUSTER collection

Throughout 2012, EMRC will be holding drumMUSTER collections at the Red Hill Waste Management Facility, located at 1094 Toodyay Road, Red Hill.

All farm chemical users within Perth's Eastern Region are encouraged to bring their empty, properly cleaned, non-returnable, steel and plastic farm chemical containers to the facility for inspection and collection.

Remember, all drums must be correctly cleaned both inside and out (including caps and threads) and allowed to drain or air dry to ensure they contain no rinse water. This is keeping in-line with 'Agsafe Standard for Effective Rinsing out of Farm Chemical Containers' brochure available from chemical retail outlets.

Unclean or partly filled containers will not be accepted and will remain the property of the chemical user.

The drumMUSTER will operate every month in 2012, from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm:

  • Wednesday 11 January 2012
  • Wednesday 8 February 2012
  • Wednesday 14 March 2012
  • Wednesday 11 April 2012
  • Wednesday 9 May 2012
  • Wednesday 13 June 2012
  • Wednesday 11 July 2012
  • Wednesday 8 August 2012
  • Wednesday 12 September 2012
  • Wednesday 10 October 2012
  • Wednesday 14 November 2012
  • Wednesday 12 December 2012

Farm chemical users are encouraged to phone Tanya Beinhauer at the Red Hill Waste Management Facility on (08) 9574 6235 to book a delivery time to ensure that site inspectors are available.

EMRC looks forward to your support in rinsing out, rounding up, and running in all your empty, properly cleaned, non-returnable farm chemical containers.

For more information, please phone the Red Hill Waste Management Facility on (08) 9574 6235.
