The EMRC`s Hazelmere Timber Recycling Centre celebrates it`s first birthday today - 12 March 2009.
Since opening, the Centre has recycled over 8,000 tonne of industrial woodwaste into a reusable woodchip. The woodchip is primarily used in the manufacture of particleboard, poultry bedding, as mulch and a compost blend.
