EMRC Offering Local Community Groups up to $1,500

The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC) is offering grants of up to $1,500 each to community groups through its 2018/2019 Community Grants Program.

 

The grants program opens on Monday, 2 July 2018 with a total pool of $15,000. The EMRC Community Grants Program provides support to the development or maintenance of the sustainability, social, cultural and/or recreational needs of the local community. Eligible applicants include members of the Gidgegannup, Hovea, Parkerville and/or Stoneville communities.

 

“The EMRC believes that thriving local communities are essential for the wellbeing of those who live there. We are delighted that we have the opportunity to demonstrate our continued support for our local communities through this valuable initiative,” said EMRC Chief Executive Officer Peter Schneider.
