R Gang

The EMRC has a dedicated website for waste education. R-Gang represents ways for us to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover waste at home, at work, and in our community. The R-Gang website will provide you with local council information, resources, education programs and practical hints on how to manage your waste more effectively.

Waste-Wise Schools

This award-winning program provides professional development for teachers in Western Australia in developing school waste minimisation strategies, such as recycling, composting and worm farming, and administers a school grants program. The program is free of charge.

Transpacific Cleanaway waste education programs

These are available to local primary schools in Perth's Eastern Region, free of charge. The Transpacific Cleanaway education program focuses on the three R's: recycling, reusing and reducing through practical demonstrations and entertaining class activities. The program is very popular, and teachers are advised to book early, as demand for the incursion are heavy.
