19/03/2010 Sustainable Communities Competition

The Sustainable Communities Competition, an initiative of the EMRC under the banner of  the Perth Solar City Program, was launched today.

The Sustainable Communities Competition, sponsored by Solahart and SunPower, is an exciting community program and aims to encourage environmentally sustainable practices in Perth's Eastern Region.

The competition brings groups of people together to nominate their community group as the "Most Sustainable Community" in Perth's Eastern Region.

You can nominate any group of people such as a street, part of a street, group of friends, club or association for the Most Sustainable Community Award. By participating in this competition, each member of your community group will go into the draw to win a fully installed SunPower 1.2kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system for their home valued at $9,500.
