The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council, on behalf of FORC, is seeking tenders for professional services for consultants in advocacy, public relations and market research.

Tenders shall be submitted electronicaly via EMRC's e-tendering portal at www.tenderlink.com/emrc no later that 3.00 pm Australian Western Standard Time (WST), Monday 30 January 2012.

A tender that is not in the electronic tender box when the tender closes will not be considered for evaluation.

Facsimile or email tenders will not be considered for evaluation. Lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Canvassing of employees or council members will disqualify the tender.

Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of Council will be held at the EMRC Administration Office, 1st Floor, 226 Great Eastern Highway, BELMONT WA 6104 on Wednesday, 14 December 2011, commencing at 1.30 pm for the purpose of endorsing a Position Paper for submission to the Local Government Metropolitan Review Panel.

The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC) advises the following charges for the purchase of shredded, unprocessed greenwaste and a fee for the use of the soil remediation area effective from 22 December 2011:

Shredded, unprocessed greenwaste: $5.00/tonne
Use of the remediation pad: 10% of the cost of remediation treatment

All fees and charges are exclusive of GST.
