Resource Recovery Park

The Hazelmere Recycling Centre (Lakes Road, Hazelmere) began operations in 2008. EMRC's vision for the site is a hub of resource recovery activities diverting significant waste from landfill and processing it into reusable products: a future resource recovery park.

Currently Western Australia's only timber recycling and mattress recycling services operate from the Centre. The site is also the drop-off point for InterfaceFLOR carpet tile recycling.

Work is continuing on identifying new waste streams and their markets for further resource recovery activities.
