Timber accepted

We CAN accept:

• Untreated timbers (this includes fumigated timbers with the markings ISMP-15, MB, HT)
   
• Soft woods (includes pine and particleboard)
   
• Hard woods (includes jarrah and cedar)
   
• Timber that contains ferrous metal (nails, bolts, screws and gang nails)

The EMRC is also able to accept untreated timber waste from European House Borer (EHB) restriction zones. Untreated pine is processed in such a way that large quantities are rendered useless for the effective habitat of the pest. For more information on the European House Borer visit www.ehb.wa.gov.au.

We CAN NOT accept:

• CCA treated timber
• Painted timber
• Timber that contains non-ferrous metal (door handles and strapping)
• MDF
