EcoChip

Wood is too good to waste – use recycled woodchip

What is EcoChip?

EcoChip is processed at the EMRC's Hazelmere Timber Recycling Centre from untreated and unpainted end-of-life timber pallets, packaging and off-cuts.

EcoChip is available in two sizes:

  • Secondary Grind Woodchip:
    • 50mm shredded woodchip.
    • Has been through two shredding stages and screened to remove all grit and metal contamination.
  • Woodchip Fines:
    • Screened woodchip fines smaller than 10mm.
    • Low dust content.

We are happy to work with you develop a woodchip that meets your needs, so please contact Rebecca on (08) 9424 2220 or Rebecca.Smith@emrc.org.au to discuss your requirements.

Benefits of using EcoChip

  • Supports the recovery and reuse of valuable resources.
  • Diverting industrial timber waste from landfill reduces carbon emissions.
  • Save money.
