Commercial Waste

The EMRC accepts general waste, green waste and special wastes at Red Hill Waste Management Facility (classes II to V waste and concrete encapsulated class V waste).

Paint from commercial sources can be disposed of through the Paintback scheme. Red Hill Waste Management Facility is an approved Paintback site.  For more information go to https://www.paintback.com.au/

Discounts on standard fees are available for large quantities of commercial waste and contaminated soils as shown in the Fees and Charges schedule.

Attractive discounts for long term contracts are available for major customers and local governments by agreement.

The EMRC's Red Hill Waste Management Facility also sells mulch certified to AS 4454, Soil Improver, Ferricrete and Clay at prices shown in the Fees and Charges schedule. Material purchases in excess of 400 tonnes and 2,000 tonnes over the financial year are subject to a discount of 15% and 20% respectively.

Red Hill Waste Management Facility is an all weather access, best practice facility with an environmental management system accredited to ISO 14001.

At its Hazelmere Resource Recovery Park, the EMRC accepts timber waste, mattresses and dry commercial and industrial waste. Applicable fees and charges are shown here.
