The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC) is proud to announce that Marcus Geisler has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the General Division for his exceptional contributions to the environment.

Mr. Geisler's extensive experience includes senior roles at Coates Hire, Thiess Services, SITA Australia Pty Ltd, and Pacific Waste Management Australia from 1998 to 2009.

- Director of Wines of Western Australia since 2023.
- Former Council Member at the Australian Dutch Business Council.
Awards and Recognition:
- Waste Champion of Western Australia by WasteSorted Awards, 2020.
- Finalist, Circular Leader Award, Australian Circular Economy Hub, 2022.
- Companion of the Institution of Engineers Australia, since 2023.
- Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, since 2001.
