Notice is hereby given that the Ascot Place Administration Office will be closed from 5:00pm Friday, 21 December 2018 and on each day thereafter until it re-opens on Wednesday, 2 January 2019. The Hazelmere Resource Recovery Park will be closed from 3:00pm Friday, 21 December 2018 and each day thereafter until it re-opens on Wednesday, 2 January 2019. The Red Hill Waste Management Facility will be closed on Christmas Day (Tuesday, 25 December 2018) and New Year’s Day (Tuesday, 1 January 2019). The Coppin Road and Mathieson Road Transfer Stations (Shire of Mundaring) will be closed on Christmas Day (Tuesday, 25 December 2018) and New Year’s Day (Tuesday, 1 January 2019).

The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC) moved a step closer to provision of a resource recovery solution for the region with the decision at its September Special Council meeting to confirm a consortium led by Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI) as the preferred tenderer.This decision will see the EMRC enter into a Waste Supply Agreement with HZI, where household waste from the region will be processed by the consortium at its East Rockingham Resource Recovery Facility.
