A prescribed burn is planned for Saturday, 11 October 2025 at Lot 501, Red Hill Waste Management Facility, as part of bushfire risk mitigation efforts.
- Conducted by: Parkerville and West Gidgegannup Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades
- Timing: Weather permitting – date may change based on conditions
- Purpose: Reduce bushfire risk and support native flora regeneration
⚠️ Smoke Advisory
The burn may produce significant smoke. While efforts will be made to minimise impact, nearby properties may be affected. Logs and stumps may continue to smoulder after the main burn.
