Energy, Water and Climate Change

EMRC's Environmental Services team undertake a variety of sustainability initiatives, programs and projects in partnership with local governments and the community, some with the assistance of Australian Government funding. These activities aim to reduce carbon emissions and increase energy efficiency; assist local governments and communities to assess and manage their water resources; provide climate change risk assessment, management and adaptation planning; and to educate and engage in the areas of energy, water and climate change.

Sustainability stands side by side and supports Natural Resource Management catchment and regional scale approaches to managing land, water and biodiversity resources for the protection of resources; to provide benefits for existing and future generations.
